Louis Mancuso has completed 2 full Ironman and 8 half Ironman races. For your reference, an Ironman race is the longest distance triathlon you could do, and they’re made up of three components: 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, and 26.2 marathon.  Doing The System helped push him through his training. After trying a bunch of different proteins, he found that he loved all the flavors. To Louis, “Nutrition is paramount.” To get through the training regimen, he needed supplemental nutrition and found it by having 2 protein a shakes a day from The System. Beyond thinking it was delicious, he looked forward to having one after each session.  Louis says, “It felt pure, natural, and like I was putting goodness in my body.” He felt better and found that it helped him in recovery. The pain he experienced during the training and the race is a “good” pain, the kind of feeling he relishes. However, he needed to focus on recovery to get to the next day. After working so hard, The System helped him to keep going and finish something that many others fear to start.
